I got a special edition of Coca-Cola from my friend recently. As you can see, there is 名古屋(Nagoya) written on the bottle. Nagoya is one of the biggest city located in Chubu（中部） area in Japan. Also, you can see the gold "Monster" which looks like a fish or crocodile on the bottle. The name of the "Monster" is Shachihoko(しゃちほこ、鯱）According to Wikipedia, "A shachihoko is an animal in Japanese folklore with the head of a tiger and the body of a carp.[1] It was believed that this animal could cause the rain to fall, and as such, temples and castles were often adorned with roof ornaments (shibi) crafted in the form of a shachihoko, in order to protect them from fire. "
You can also find a Shachihoko on the roof of the Nagoya Castle (名古屋城）
I think it is awesome that you got a special edition of Coca Cola! Do you collect Coca-Cola bottles? I have never been to Japan but I think the Japanese culture has one of the coolest culture out there. Some of the things that I admire about the Japanese culture are: the food, the color kimono the ladies wear and the traditional dance, Kabuki.
